PepGemPrivacy Policy

PepGem is built to keep your health information private. It has no accounts, no analytics, and no servers of ours. Your data stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. We never see it.
The short version
- No account, no sign-up, no email required.
- No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking.
- Everything you enter is stored on your device.
- If iCloud is on, it syncs through your own private iCloud, which only you can access.
- The in-app advisor runs entirely on your phone. Your questions never leave the device.
- Purchases go through Apple. We never receive your payment details.
Who we are
PepGem is developed by Brandzn, an independent app studio based in the Netherlands. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Brandzn. You can reach us any time at info@brandzn.com.
What data the app stores
PepGem lets you track peptide and hormone protocols, so the information you enter can include health-related details. This may include:
- Protocols you create (peptide, dose, schedule, route, reminders, notes).
- Dose logs (dates, whether a dose was taken, skipped or missed, injection site, notes).
- Inventory and vials (contents, reconstitution, remaining amount, dates, notes).
- Body-weight entries and notes.
- Your onboarding preferences and app settings.
This information is created and kept on your device. It is never sent to Brandzn, and we have no way to read it.
Where your data is stored
PepGem stores your data locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for PepGem, that data also syncs through your private iCloud database so it is backed up and available across your own devices. This sync is handled entirely by Apple and is protected by your Apple Account. It is a private iCloud container, which means Brandzn cannot access it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. If you prefer not to use iCloud, you can turn it off for PepGem in your device's iCloud settings, and the app keeps working with on-device storage only.
No accounts
PepGem has no login system. You do not create an account, and you never give us your name, email address or any other identifier. There is nothing for us to store about you.
No analytics or tracking
PepGem contains no analytics tools, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or data-collection SDKs. We do not profile you, and we do not collect usage statistics. The app does not track you across other apps or websites.
The in-app advisor
PepGem's advisor answers questions from a built-in knowledge library that ships inside the app. It runs fully on your device. Nothing you type into it is transmitted to Brandzn or to any third party.
Purchases (PepGem Pro)
PepGem offers optional paid features through Apple's In-App Purchase. All payments are processed by Apple under your Apple Account. We never see or receive your card number or payment details. Apple may provide us with anonymised, aggregate sales information (for example, how many subscriptions were sold), which does not identify you. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's terms.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, PepGem uses them to remind you about scheduled doses and to alert you before a vial runs low. These reminders are generated and scheduled on your device. They are not sent through any server, and no notification content leaves your phone.
Exporting your data
You can export your dose logs and weight entries as a CSV file. The file is created on your device and shared only where you choose to send it, through the standard iOS share sheet. Once you share or save that file, it is outside PepGem, and this policy no longer covers it.
Apple Health
PepGem does not read from or write to Apple Health (HealthKit). It has no access to your Health data.
Children
PepGem is a health-tracking tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18.
Your control over your data
Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you are always in control of it:
- Edit or delete any individual protocol, dose, vial or weight entry inside the app.
- Use "Delete all data" in Settings to erase everything at once.
- Delete the app to remove its data from your device. If you used iCloud, you can also remove the PepGem data stored there from your device's iCloud settings.
Under data-protection laws such as the GDPR, you have rights to access, correct and erase your personal data. Because Brandzn holds no personal data about you on any system of ours, there is nothing on our side to retrieve or delete. Your data stays entirely in your hands, and the controls above let you exercise those rights directly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. Significant changes will also be reflected in an app update.
